Restaurants push their HVAC systems hard. Between the cooking, the foot traffic, and the constant airflow demand, dust and debris build up inside the ductwork faster than most people realize. And when that system starts circulating dirty air through a dining room full of guests, it becomes a problem worth taking seriously.
We were glad to partner with Olga's Kitchen on a full duct cleaning. Here's what we were working with - ductwork that had accumulated a solid layer of built-up debris along the base of the ducts and into the runs. That kind of buildup doesn't happen overnight, and it doesn't go away on its own. It just keeps circulating back into the space every time the system kicks on.
Our team ran the vacuum hose straight up through the ceiling and worked access point by access point through the system. The large-diameter vacuum hose you see running through the dining room connects directly to our truck-mounted equipment outside - that's what gives us the suction power to actually extract debris from deep inside the duct runs, not just at the surface. The drop ceiling tiles came up, the panels came off, and we got into every section of the system properly.
After the cleaning, the difference inside the ductwork is clear. The metal walls go from coated in grey dust and debris to clean bare metal - the kind of airflow path that actually moves clean air the way it was designed to. For a restaurant like Olga's, that means a cleaner environment for staff and guests, better HVAC efficiency, and one less thing to worry about behind the scenes.
We love working with local businesses that care about keeping their building in top shape. A well-maintained air system is one of those things nobody notices when it's working right - and everybody notices when it isn't. Glad to be the team Olga's trusts to keep things running clean.
