We had a great opportunity working alongside Encon Environmental on a full duct cleaning at Johnson Controls operations. This was a big job - the kind that requires a solid crew, careful prep, and a lot of attention to what's actually hiding inside the system.

Here's what we were working with. The ductwork interior showed heavy dust and debris buildup - the type of contamination that quietly restricts airflow and just keeps recirculating through the space day after day. Every ceiling tile came down, every surface got addressed. You can see the plastic sheeting draped over the workstations throughout the space - protecting everything below while the crew worked above.

The duct cleaning itself was hands-on work. Vacuuming directly inside the lined duct sections, clearing debris from the plenum spaces, and making sure nothing got left behind. We also got up on the rooftop unit to swap out the filters and take a look at the coil - and that coil was packed. That kind of buildup forces the system to work harder than it needs to, which hits efficiency and drives up operating costs.

Jobs at this scale are exactly what we're built for. Full duct cleaning, coil cleaning, open ceiling work - all of it done in an active facility without leaving a mess behind. When you see the Bee, you know the work got done right.

Air quality inside a commercial building isn't something most people think about until something feels off. But the dust doesn't wait. Regular cleaning keeps systems running the way they should and gives the people inside a noticeably fresher environment to work in.
